Site Organization
Defining the underlying site architecture is one of the important first steps in site design. The relationship and flow between topics and pages is organized to maximize ease of access and use according to users' needs. Site Navigation
Navigation defines how the user moves through the site. Our programming staff will work with you to produce a site that can be intuitively navigated and used by visitors with ease and confidence.

Graphic Design
Our graphic design department excels in original design, creating professional, eye-catching graphics. Graphics are optimized for web use to facilitate fast download and optimal viewing.

Page Design
Typically, we create web pages that are targeted for use by a maximum number of platforms and browsers. Pages are designed for monitors 800 x 600 using browser safe colors. Alternatively, at your option, we can design for larger screen size. Pages are tested for functionality and appearance on a variety of browsers and platforms to ensure site integrity. Features usable only by newer browsers are used only in nonessential add-ons to the site. If your application requires use of non-universal techniques, we will make you aware of any viewing limitations.

During the design stages of the site, TSI will evaluate and recommend specific tools to achieve desired results and effects for the various web pages. Text Conversion
TSI is experienced in large-scale conversion of legacy documents into web documents. We have dealt with the quirks of design inconsistencies between documents, source document incompatibilities, and symbols that cannot be reliably translated into HTML. If you have a large quantity of existing documents that will be converted to web documents, there are a variety of tools that can be used to accomplish this task, depending on the format of the source documents.

Site Indexing
TSI will offer a variety of indexing options for the web pages. We are experienced in such common search and indexing programs as Swish and WAIS, as well as commercially available packages such as those provided by Excite and Infoseek. For improved efficiency, TSI is also versed in the storage of pages in an indexed database for rapid retrieval and complex searches.

Programming
TSI is experienced in writing complex code for a wide variety of applications. Our primary tools are Aestiva HTML/OS, Perl, Cold Fusion, SQL, PHP, and MySQL. Our applications are simple to modify and easy to maintain. We specialize in driving our programs with files and databases that can be easily updated by the customer. This gives the customer immediate access and control to the web site.

Site Maintenance
Over the long term, site maintenance has been shown to be more costly than the actual creation of the web site. Therefore, careful thought is given to setting up the site for efficient page maintenance and updating. Pages will be created so that they are compatible with the method chosen for site maintenance.
